About Font
I always think font is a key point when I create an article or a webpage.
In the past, Times New Roman and Arial are the two default fonts in Windows, and Times New Roman is the default print font, just like SimSun in Chinese. Now, we come to web age, and you can find traditional fonts are not suitable for screen. There are much sharp edge on Times New Roman character and they hurt viewer's eye, and even Arial is not appropriate choose, either. We need new and smooth fonts.
Microsoft provide 2 new fonts for new age from Windows 2000, they are Tahoma and Verdana. Tahoma is suitable for menu, and Verdana is the best choice for web pages and content of article. The most important feature is they support "ClearType". It's a advance techonology which try to enhance the character performance on LCD/flat monitor.
So, if you create something for print, like an article or a report, choose Times New Roman and Arial; If you want to publish your work on screen, Tahoma and Verdana will be better.
