Google Bookmarks and Chrome bookmark synchronization

I take a try on Google Bookmarks today, and get a very bad user experience.

What I thought is I can use it to store all my bookmarks online and start to use Safari as my primary browser. You know, the biggest shortage of Safari is it doesn’t support extensions and plugins. And it’s been said that Apple would announce Safari 5.0 which support extensions. If it’s a true news, then I can finally find a extension for Safari to synchronize online bookmarks. That really inspires me.

Before that, I have to use Google Chrome and it’s bookmark synchronization. I am not sure if you have noticed. There are two sets of Google’s products related to online bookmarks, Google Bookmarks and Google Chrome bookmark synchronization. So I just think Google might be going to give up Google Bookmarks. These two products face same target market.

In my experience, Google Bookmarks is more like a copy-cat of del.icio.us. And Google Chrome bookmark synchronization is just a simple online bookmarks store service. The prior one is more like a social network tools. When I surfing Internet, I can bookmark interesting pages and websites in Google Bookmarks, then share them to my friends. The latter one is more personal and privately. At least, I didn’t find share bookmarks option in Google Docs.

However, I still think they are duplicate.

So, What should I use? I don't know. What I really want is a Safari plugin for del.icio.us, then I can give up Chrome and turn to Safari. Bookmarks online synchronization is very important for me. I often restore my system and if I have to initial browser's bookmarks every time, I will be mad.
